2022 Visually Impaired Bowler Diary
National VI Paors Championship 2023
Stockport’s Gareth Harwood, paired with Devonian Stephen Hartley (Plymouth Life Centre) set off ‘like the proverbial train’, winning their first game 24 – 0 – and they marched on relentlessly, securing their place in the final before playing their last game, with a massive +65 shot difference.
The final saw the Somerset pair, Dave Wood & Phil Dutton on the wrong end of a 7 - 0 scoreline after 3 ends and things only got worse for them as Harwood drove the jack into the ditch to score a 5 on end 4 – and then another 5 put the game out of Wood & Dutton’s reach. Final score: Dave Wood & Phil Dutton (Taunton Deane) 0 : Stephen Hartley (Plymouth Life Centre) & Gareth Harwood (Stockport) 27
